Legal Question in Family Law in Georgia

My vrother died but didnt leave a will or anything. He own a car and money in the bank and other assets. Can my living brother take all his things and his car? Or do he need permission from the courts?

If he had no will, the Probate Court needs to appoint an administrator

No one can access those assets without permission of the court

You should apply for letters of administration ASAP
