wife has mental illness

my wife and i separated and she has a mental illness and wont take medication. She is not safe for the kids. What can i do to get them in my custody as soon as possible.She is very unstable.

Custody battles are rarely decided quickly and they are expensive. Step one is to retain a good lawyer, as, until you do, nothing will even begin to happen.
