Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Georgia

Civil Complaint

If I answer a civil complaint and deny all listed allegations. If a trial does follow and the opposing party can prove I did commit the offense listed in the complaint, is that considered purgery? can i suffer court sanctions for not being honest?

Re: Civil Complaint

You should respond to the suit honestly; you should always be candid with the court when filing anything. That being said, you may be able to deny an allegation depending on the exact wording. I would highly recommend that you have a local attorney review the complaint and advise you on how to respond.
