Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Georgia

Deployment

My ex an I were sharing an apartment. I am in the Army reserves and I am currently deployed. We broke up shortly after my deployment and now he is avoiding me and not returning emails. He will not turn over my belongings to my parents. What do I do? I also believe he will not give me my portion of the deposit we placed on the apartment when we moved in when the contract ends. How can I insure that I recoup those funds?

Re: Deployment

Consult with a local attorney. Your divorce papers, along with all the circumstances surrounding the relationhshiip need to be considered. It is almost impossible to give you a definitive answer in a forum such as this. If you would like to discuss, feel free to call me.
