Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Georgia

domestic dispute

If I have a teporary restraining order against me and I now permanently reside out of state, and I do not go to the court hearing, will I be held in contempt of court, or will the permanent order just be automatically granted?

Re: domestic dispute

That is a question for a lawyer who knows the facts of your case, including the terms of, and reasons for, the TRO, and the nature of the hearing. We can't guess and you don't even say what the hearing is about. The safe thing to do is get a lawyer to represent your interests in the case and determine whether or not you need to attend a particular hearing.
