Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Georgia

Can a federal judge order a non-party to appear in court? Judge William S. Duffey has ordered the wife of a defendant in a closed case to appear in court to verify the authenticity of her signature. That authenticity was proven in affidavits with unquestionable proof, including a sworn affidavit signed in front of two Eleventh Circuit clerks. Duffey is attempting to shield himself from exposure of his many corrupt criminal acts. The claim of requiring the wife to prove the authenticity of her signature is a sham so Duffey can try to exert pressure to stop the husband from expsing Duffey's corruption. So, the question is, does he have any legal basis to order a non-party to appear?

It sounds as if you are over your head with respect to your federal case. I suggest you contact an attorney for a case evaluation. I presume you have bigger issues to deal with besides the issue of whether or not a judge can order a witness to appear in court.
