Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Georgia

Juvenile / Minor Servence

My wife, son and I were served civil suit papers at our home. The agent did not hand the papers to our son. We contacted our lawyer, who contacted the other folks lawyer. Subsequently the other lawyer had our son served a SECOND time, but this time at school. I have been told this is legal but I am not sure that it is legal to serve a minor out of the company of parent / guardian. I certainly believe it must be unethical, particularly since both lawyers were aware that all three of us had been served.
