Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Georgia

Recovery group has filed a civil lawsiut against me for a repossed car from 4 years ago. Never heard from them until a year ago when it was filed in GA state court. They never appeared and it was thrown out, now a year later they filed with GA Superior Court. I received a letter of ADR Referral and have a choice of case evaluation or mediatiion. What is the difference between the two and which is the best alternative for my situation? I don't have the money the are asking and honestly don't agree with the amount. I never received any proof/paperwork showing I owe what they claim. Any advice is appreciated I have until 1/31/2010 or it will automatically go int mediation.

You needed a lawyer well before now and there is no way to evaluate options without seeing the case paperwork. Retain counsel. In waiting you may have hurt your rights, but further delay could further hurt your case.
