Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Georgia

My sons hair was cut @ school while in class by a student. The student asked another for scissors snd went behind my sons back without him knowing. My question is, what can be done to the other student legally. I haven't heard anything from the school about the incident other than what my son has told me. By the way, my son is handicapped and uses a walker or a wheelchair most of the day.

You do not provide details on how much was cut, ages, etc., but this sounds like a prank that could happen at many schools. The student who did it should certainly get some kind of punishment at school, especially if he/she is a troublemaker in general, but to take legal action (lawsuits, arrests, etc.) is going to be an unnecessary and unwarranted step in most circumstances. You said you have not heard from the school, but what have you done to contact the administration?
