Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Georgia

I won a civil judgment of $12,000 against both an individual and his business. The Sheriff's office has already served a Fieri Facias and sent me back the original. Now, what is my next step so that I can actually get some money from this judgment? What are my options?

It does no good to sue someone unless you figure out, before suing, if there are assets against which you can collect. Figuring it out after the fact is exactly backwards, as some judgments are worthless paper.

You may wish to contact a collections attorney and see if he might, for a percentage of teh recovery, try and collect for you.
