Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Georgia

A young lady hacked into my email account and used it to send emails incriminating me of crimes that I did not commit. Then she filed police reports against me for these crimes. She works in the IT department at my school and used my school email account to do these things. She now has a pending restraining order and criminal charges against me, and I am at risk of being put out of school. The school is currently investigating my email account, and I have plenty of proof and witnesses of my whereabouts during the weekend in question. What can I do?

People with criminal charges and the other issues you have take it seriously and get lawyers immediately, and don't rely on internet websites. Get a lawyer, and discuss this with him or her.

When you are facing possible prison, if you are concerned, and you should be, you retain a lawyer immediately. Given the seriousness of this case, I assume you did get a lawyer and since you should have one already, it's inappropriate for us, without facts, to second guess him.
