Legal Question in Health Care Law in Georgia

My son was sent to the doctor with a back ache and while there was given a drug test by urinating in a cup, all understandable. the report was sent back to his job saying that he tested positive for meth. the same urine was sent to another lab and tested clean. During which time he was fired from his job. my brother also works there and the person who recieves these test results told him about my son testing positive for meth which he was later cleared from and has never done any form of drugs. what can be done about this person revealing test result and breaking hipaa laws?

It sounds like that he was sent by his work for a possible work related injury. It is highly likely that the test was ordered by his job and was a requirement of his employment. Since the HIPPA laws apply to the medical staff and they complied with the law, there's no violation in your post.
