Legal Question in Immigration Law in Georgia

I was born on a army base in panama in 1983 my father was on active duty at the time. We moved back to US in 1987 I'am 25 years old now and been here ever since 87 , i have a family of my own and I own my own house, I plan on getting married in october of 09 but i was recently laid off my job because they said i wasnt a US citizen authorized to work in the US . I never had any problems with this at any of my other jobs i worked at before so what can i do to fix this problem.

It looks like you are a US citizen.

Do you have a Birth Certificate issued by US Consulate/embassy in Pamana (Consular report of birth abroad)?

If so, apply for a US passport. Either one of these documents is a sufficient proof of USA citizenship.
