Legal Question in Immigration Law in Georgia

H1-B Visa

Hi,

I am in the United States in F1 visa. After completion of my associates degree in Accounting, I was granted OPT for 1 year, which expires in November of this year. The company I am working for right now is willing to sponsor me for H1 visa. Is it too late to apply? Also Do I have to finish bachelors before aplying for H1 visa? What are my alternatives?

Re: H1-B Visa

You need to the equivalent of a Bachelors Degree which can be demonstrated by (1) a Bachelors Degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent); or (2) a combination of education and experience that demonstrates the equivalent of a Bachelor's Degree; or (3) at least 12 years of progressive and professional level experience(using the 3:1 rule).

We have an Overview of the H-1B nonimmigrant visa classification that we can send to you by e-mail at your request.
