If husband entered the U.S. without documentation, and has remained here for 10 years, there are only a few options. Has your friend petitioned for her husband in all these 10 years? He can consular process, or, if he ends up before an Immigration Judge he can try cancellation of removal if he has no aggravated felony conviction.
