Legal Question in Immigration Law in Georgia

Hi,

As part of my Adjustment of Status package, I have a translated Birth Certificate from Jun 2004. The status of the notary public who signed the affidavit had a stamp which indicated that his status expires Feb 2005. Can you advise if this is still a valid document to submit the USCIS as part of the Adjustment of Status?

Many thanks for your help.

For the certified birth certificate, it's important to have a Translator's certification, name, address, signature and date. Notarization is optional. Certified translation submitted to the USCIS has to be 'certified' by the translator. Certified translation doesn't expire.
