driving with no insurance

My car has been park since october 06 for a fuel injector problem.It was park in tallahassee at a friends house to be work on.The first of january the car was bought back to me because of finding transpotation to school for my kids and work.I was using friends and boyfriends car up until january.The first week i drove my car to work i was caught by police with no insurance.They want let me pay the fine,so i have to go to court in february.This is my first violation.Why i can not pay the fine and save me from embarassment in court.Can i talk to someone{please}.

You must have insurance in order to drive. So, if you can't show proof of insurance, they will take your license. Paying a fine does not change that.
