Legal Question in Employment Law in Georgia

I was in an apprentiship program at the company i work for. i successully completed the course and instead of moving me up to the position they gave someone else the the job position that had no formal training and cannot complete any of the job task and they are now training him for the position that they gave him without any knowledge. Since i was trained and my job title clearly states apprentice for the that specific job shouldnt i be entiled to that job position when it comes open?

Not unless you have a contract giving you a contractual (not legal) right to a job. There is no right or entitlement to ANY employment in Georgia (or most other states), and employment can be denied or terminated for any or no reason at all (with very few exceptions for illegal discrimination).
