Legal Question in Employment Law in Georgia

Can a employer force you to use lunch break to use restroom. When the only thing you do in go into restroom use it and come back out in less than 15 minutes. That is having a bowel movement.

I take it the employer is not allowing you to use a restroom until your lunch break. Though this is harsh and probably a stupid management tactic, it is not illegal. The question is whether you get paid for all the time that you work. It would not be surprising to see an employer who does not allow you to use the restroom except during lunch also not paying you for all the time you work. If the employer is subject to the Fair Labor Standards Act (and most employers are) it would be violating that law.
