Legal Question in Employment Law in Georgia

Employer relieves you before two week period

I turned in my two weeks notice. Two days later, my ex-employer states they accept my two weeks notice without paying me for the full two weeks? Is this legal?

Need More Information

GA is an at-will employment state, which means an employer can usually fire you for any reasons which do not infringes on your constitution or legal rights. I do not have enough information to advise you. Did the employer not pay you for the two weeks you did work? Or did the employer fire you two days after you gave the two weeks notice, but paid you up until the time you were fired?
