Forced resignation after being sexually harrassed

I am being forced to resign my position as HR manager $50k the man I replaced was making $68,500.I reported a male manager making advances towards me and he has been reassigned he told me if I reported this that I would be fired, that he was the golden boy and they would not believe me, the owner/president has been repeating rumors that I sued my last employer for unfair pay - untrue, the environment is hostile, I do an excellent job which they do not deny, there is no reason that they are giving for this resignation. They want me to sign release and I get 6 mos severance. The manager admitted making leud comments and sent me a card apologizing which I still have...
