Legal Question in Employment Law in Georgia

My name is Glen Kilby I currently work for Americold Westgate. I am writing this letter because of the Favoritism, Decimation, and the stopping of me excelling in this company. Back in June I was told not asked that I was to move to the Americold Westgate site, a week or two later be told they need strong management at the Westgate site. The reason I was moved was to make room for a plant manager that could not do the task asked of him to step down (Favoritism). I worked at the Southgate site for a week because the Ops manager I was to replace still worked at the Westgate site. I emailed Dave Moore to ask him why I was moved a week later he replied. I then called Traci Golden to let her know about the way I am being treated. I still have not had a good reason WHY the move happened.

After about a month working here I tried to talk to the other two Ops managers with no success. I tried going over something that would make Westgate run better I was ignored. I then set up a meeting with the Ops managers Kevin Magby and Steve Wilson and the plant manager Anthony Cubito to discuss things I could offer this company. I was met with resistance at the start everything I suggested would not work or they could not do. The two other Ops managers are black and I am white from the way they were acting they did not want me there telling them what needs to be changed. If I ask them to do something they look at me and walk away, they will not show me anything I need to do. They have no problem tell me what to do, (Decimation). After the meeting I emailed Traci Golden asking here to please set up meeting for me, she and Dave came set down and talk. A week later me and Dave sat down to talk I told him everything that has been going on here at the Westgate site, he acted like he was concerned taking note and asking question but still felt it was falling on deaf ears. All the black supervisors work days and all the white supervisor are made to work nights.

From the start the plant manger from Westgate knew I was coming never set me up with a sign-on or access to any programs Westgate may be running from the WMS system to their labor management system. I personally took my laptop to corporate so I can get the access I needed, it took them 3 weeks to do these. So for 3 weeks I was here with no computer no training and no help from management. I am working from 6:00pm until 2:30 am why do you need an Ops manager at that time. I have not been told what I am responsible for here at the Americold Westgate site or any contact with customers. All they have me do is come in and baby set the supervisors. I was running the Versacold, McDonough by myself and I had it was running great but now I m just sitting in a offices that leaks when it rains and the lock on the door does not work. (Stopping me from excelling in this company)

I have expressed the way I feel numerous times to HR and the VP of my region still nothing has changed I am still at nights with no inner action with customer or the daily activities of this company. I feel that the strong management they need here was a lie. I am not the type of manager that likes to just set around I what to run things they way I know I can. I have been at Versacold now Americold for 11 years I have given this company everything, and now to be tossed aside like an old bone is not the way to run a business. I know Americold is trying to change their image by putting the costumer first but the employees are the ones that make that image change. Now I went from a happy person that can run a warehouse to one that questions his ability to manage a warehouse. Every time I get in the car to come to work I have to make myself go, where I went from see my family everyday to seeing them 1 to 2 hours a day. I want to get back to that feeling of worth something in this company, that I have devoted 11 years of my life to. I am at the point of is it worth all the headaches and stress I am putting me and my

Do i have a case aganist my company

You may or may not have a case. However, you have made the horrible decision to post your dispute, including names and details, on the internet for everyone in the world and their mother to see and read. That includes not only your current employer, but all potential future employers. You violated the rules of this forum. but potentially did far more harm to yourself. You need to contact LawGuru and ask them to remove your post, although because they apparently don't consider such requests you are likely stuck with this.
