I was put on leave of absence from work, due to personal reasons. I was fired before my leave of absence ended. But the job put on my seperation notice that I quit, to keep me form getting unemployment benefits. Is this legal?

It is not appropriate, and you have the right to appeal to receive your UI benefits. Be sure to file w/in 15 days of the notice of your denial. You will want to consult with an appeals attorney like myself. www.georgiaunemploymentlawyer.com.
