Legal Question in Employment Law in Georgia

Was recently terminated from Federal Govt. Feel I have a very strong case for suit. I was working in state of AZ but am now residing in GA. If I seek atty and file suit, must I do it in AZ or can I do it in any state since its Federal?

No. Just because it is the federal government does not mean you can sue anywhere. Obviously you'll need a lawyer so he or she will advise you on this.

Federal government employees have far more rights than workers in the private sector. Prior to taking any disciplinary action, federal employers must follow very strict protocols, statutes and regulations to protect the rights of employees.

To answer your question, it depends. There may be AZ state laws that were violated as well. I would hire a Georgia employment law attorney who can answer the question about venue quite easily. Best of luck.******The above is intended for informational purposes only and does not establish an attorney-client relationship.******
