Legal Question in Employment Law in Georgia

I am a security gaurd a person that did not want to follow the rules complained to my supervisor my supervisor did not ask my side yelled at and acted as if he wanted to fight me other offices at one point even had to pull him back and restrain him. long story short im suspended without pay until futher notice i did my job as stated in my officer hand book in the event that i am fired do i have a case? Do i have a case even if im not fired? everything about this situation is just wrong.. Help!

Employment in Georgia is at will, and employees can be terminated for any or no reason (with few exceptions for unlawful discrimination). There is no requirement of "fair." You may have more rights given to you in the handbook (or a contract), such as a right to an investigation, but you'll need to review your handbook carefully.
