I was terminated alone with another co worker from being in a heated argument. I later found out that he was allowed to continue his employment and I was let go! what are my options?

Options for what? You certainly can seek unemployment, though the company can contest it if they believe it is warranted. Otherwise, what specifically are you trying to ask? You bring up the fact that the other person was not terminated, but that is a company decision not a legal issue.

Certainly apply for unemployment. You will probably be intially denied and then need representation for the administrative hearing and if so go to my website at georgiaunemploymentlawyer.com.

If the other person was of a different sex, race, national origin, age, etc. than you are there is the possibility that you were treated differently due to one of those factors. If so, you may wish to consider filing an EEOC charge of discrimination, at 1-800-669-4000.
