Legal Question in Employment Law in Georgia

I work for the U. S. Marshals Service Training Academy at Brunswick, GA. I was physically assaulted by my immediate supervisor at work. I was not physically injured. I have contacted my personal physician to receive medication for stress and tension. I have scheduled counseling sessions for the attack also. I am still under the supervision of the individual who assaulted me and have received retaliation for reporting the assault to the authorities. I filed a complaint with the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center Authorities, Glynn County Police (Brunswick, GA) and Internal Affairs of the U. S. Marshals Service. I am currently under a lot of pressure because the Assistant Director is trying to have me fired. Is there any legal actions I can take i.e. suit for hostile work place, emotional distress and emotional suffering.

I don't understand why you would not have already seen a lawyer, but see a lawyer ASAP.
