Wrongfully fired

Can i sue an employer for wrongfully firing me,i don't know why i was fired,she didn't say why she was firing me,but i worked allday in the cemetery we had 6 services that day,also i was told by another employee that she ws talking about firing me the day before,p.S. I was never giving an employee hand book,so i don't know of any rules

Absent a contract, an employee can be fired for any or no reason, except for a very limited number of exceptions. There is no general "wrongful firing." It work both ways - an employee also has the general right to quit a job at any time.
