Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Georgia

Lease Contract

My daughter moved into her first apartment(Apartment ''A'') yesterday after signing a 12 month lease only to be told today that she would have to move from apartment ''A'', that a mistake had been made. The apartment that she was then shown was a dump(Apartment ''B''). She does not want apartment ''B''. She was told that she would be evected if she did not take apartment ''B''because she had been given apartment ''A'' at a higher rate then it can rent for.

Will she have to take apartment ''B'' even if it is a reck and she signed for apartment ''A''?

Re: Lease Contract

The terms of the lease agreement should determine which apartment she is entitled to. If it is unclear or you don't know, have a local landlord-tenant attorney review it and advise you.
