If you agree to a disability settlement, How long does the insurance company have to pay the settlement?

It depends on how the disability settlement was set up. Is it a lump sum payment? Multiple payments? An annuity? If it's a lump sum payment, the insurance company will likely have a "reasonable" period of time to pay, say 60 days or so. A time limit is something that should have been put in the disability settlement.
