Legal Question in Legal Ethics in Georgia

our lawyer required $20,000 up front to take our case. It's been almost 4years and he has not really done anything for us. According to the invoice we just received, he is claiming to have spent all of the $20.000 and even a couple of thousand more. Again, he hasn't even done the things that we retained him to do - in fact - his actions have been the most damaging to our case. What are the options to reporting him and his gross negligence? Is there any way to dispute his claims - and get at least some of our money back? We have evidence against him.

No one here knows anything about the situation or can second guess what your lawyer has done. If you are not happy with him, the most obvious first step is to retain a new lawyer who can review the case.
