what area of law is it when you find a maggot moving in a candy bar?

It could be many, depending on how it got there - products liability, negligence. Of course, if it was an isolated incident and one saw it before eating it, it likely falls under "no harm done, write the company and get some coupons." Contrary to popular belief, these incidents are not hitting the lottery.

Amen to Mr. Riddle's answer. Even if you ate it it is not hitting the jack pot, but rather a small claims case. A Maggot or two doesn't survive the digestive track and do no significant harm to one who injests them.
