Legal Question in Medical Malpractice in Georgia

Is this Malpractice?

12-19-02 I was admitted in the hospital with pelvic abcesses/Diverticulitis,surgery 12-26-02, bacteria was spilled out during surgery,. Was discharged from hospital 01-03-03, went to a different hospital, test showed pelvic mass/diverticulitis, 01-24-03 went to another hospital ER.Was sent by ambulance to hospital where surgery was done, A colostomy was done 02-03-03. A nurse said I had 2 surgeries this time. Doctor's record does not show a 2nd surgery.I have a new surgeon to do the colostomy reversal, after tests he says he will have to remove another section of my colon and a polyp, i have no ins., so i have to put it off.I was given a medicine i was allergic to and as a result, had to be under oxygen during my hospital stay,they finally checked my records and saw i was allergic, i have continued to have breathing problem.Do i have grounds for malpractice?

I am concerned about the bacterial spill. I would need your records and possibly the assistance of a nurse advocate in reviewing them to answer your question. At this point, I can answer neither the question of whether there has been medical malpractice in your case, nor the question as to whether you should make a claim even if there has been negligence.
