Legal Question in Medical Malpractice in Georgia

misdiagnosed

i'm a 23 yr old fulltime student, about a year and a half ago, i

went to see a military doctor on post [i was insured through tricare-prime

under my dad] for sever back pain. i had xrays taken, and been repeatedly

told that i have nothing wrong with me. it dragged out over a 3 month

periode, and the pain had gotten progressively stronger and unbareable. after

3 month, and me pushing the isssue, i told him i want the MRI done before

my insurance runs out [tricare only insures a fulltime student up to 23]. then

finaly after nagging long enough, i received the OK one [1] day

before my insurance would run out. i received an MRI MAR122004, the

insuarance stopped coverage MAR132004. afterwards he did explain the

readout of the mri and told me that indeed, as I had said from the beginning,

that something was wrong with my back. i was diagnosed with 2 ruptured

disk and stenosis to the right. since then, not having any insuarance, i've

been paying a local doc out of pocket for visits, and my pain has gone to a

point where i can't walk anymore and spend most of the day laying down

praying that the pain will go away. it's effecting school and quality of life. my

legs are turning numb and it's getting worste

Re: misdiagnosed

If indeed the doctor misdiagnosed your condition, there is not any information in your fact statement which leads me to conclude that the missed diagnosis has resulted in any harm or injury for which you can recover.

If there is such an injury and if you would like to speak with me further, please call 770-607-5300.
