Was suppose to get a tracyotomy to last last 4 months and now has this for life due to improper cutting in the tracia, it is was given for sleep apnea, was suppose to help, it never did. He had to go to 6 different Dr's and the last surgery he was told it is in for the rest of his life. The orginal trac that was put in, was in 1998,the last surgery he had they were going to try and put a regular tube instead of a T-Tube and after his surgery the Dr. told him that a regular tube will not work because wrong from the first surgery. Now he has to live with a T-Tube and have surgery once a year to replace it. Please call or let me know if there is anything we can do about this.--name removed--Savaglio

You should contact a local attorney for a consultation. More facts need to be developed. It sounds like you may well have a case.

Re: Trackyotomy that was done wrong

Considering the seriousness of the damages, I would highly recommend speaking with a med mal attorney as soon as possible. In order to proceed with a lawsuit, an affidavit from a competent doctor would need to procured.
