Legal Question in Personal Injury in Georgia

clearing my name

my twin brother was arrested a few years ago and used my name. I recently found out that my name is considered his alias and anyone viewing my history sees his criminal record like we are the same person. I have even done a background check online and his criminal record comes up under my name. how can I clear this from my record?

Re: clearing my name

I put your question to a a friend of mine who is a PI and former FBI. Here is his advice:

Tell him to contact the State agency in Kansas ( like our GBI) who maintains the criminal records. Have him contact the legal representative of that agency and discuss it with them. They can do something, unless Kansas law forbids changing and reporting criminal records.
