Legal Question in Personal Injury in Georgia

I have a contingency attorney representing me in a personal injury case. He just wrote me a nice email - the first in almost one year - in which he tells me that he withdrew one case and that he made this decision on his own. I am now trying to get information about the status of my case, the timeline or even copies of the communication from him. Nothing. His office members to not return my calls nor do they respond to email messages. I am very concerned the we might be missing deadlines and or what ever else needs to get done. He is not sharing anything with me and all my notes remain without response. Can anyone please advise me of what to do? I have seen a Court hearing online and several motions that were filed etc. I have no notice of any of these and keep asking for copies and information. What should I do?

Thank you so much in advance for your help. It is greatly appreciated.

Regards

SInce he is not answering you and deadlines could be running, (1) Immediately file a complaint with the State Bar of Georgia and (2) consult with a lawyer.
