Disclosure of HIV status

Are there any laws regarding a friend disclosing a friend's HIV status to people just in passing conversation?

If your question is "Can X sue Y because Y disclosed to Z that X has HIV?" the answer is YES. Georgia makes it illegal to negligently inflict emotional distress on a person such as X.
