Legal Question in Personal Injury in Georgia
I was involved in a minor car accident in april and completed chiropractor visits two and a half mos. ago. Last month, I signed and returned all paperwork back to lawyer. I am still awaiting check and keep getting the run around! Being unemployed and have exhausted all benefits is causing desperation! I call every 3days and nothing. Please tell me what is the approx. waiting period and is it true that most lawyers receive chks. early but place clients money into a bank acct. for 90 days+ for interest leaving clients waiting forever! I hope you will give me an honest answer mo matter what! THANKS, IN NEED

You don't state whose lawyer you are dealing with - your or the other party's/insurer's. If it is your lawyer, the only answer you are going to get is to discuss with your lawyer and not an internet forum where no one knows the facts of your situation.
