Legal Question in Personal Injury in Georgia

After using "Just For Men" beard and moustache dye for over 20 years my wife bought me a replacement package. I used it last Monday and almost immediately developed a severe rash, my upper lip is extremely swollen, and it oozes a pus constantly. On Folica.com I read about hundreds of other men with identical adverse effects. I want to sue the company and would like a class action on behalf of the others injured. Is this possible? I can send a doctors report of the adverse effects which I don't know as yet are going away anytime soon.

What happened when you contacted the company to tell them about it? If this is a real issue with their product, they may very well compensate you for your medical bills. However, the tone of your post indicates that you think it is an opportunity for a big lottery win because you have a rash or reaction. If it is a defect with your product (and not just your allergy), and you just have a reaction to goes away, you can expect your medical bills to be paid. The same is true for the "class action" -- perhaps you, like many others, misunderstand what the usual result of those are. The bottom line - a rash that goes away is not a winning lottery ticket. You can certainly see a qualified personal injury lawyer (in between their auto and industrial accident victims with major injuries) and get a professional opinion about your rash and swollen lip.

I agree with Scott. They would probably, if you calmed down, pay for a doctors visit and give you a refund.

By the way, I am familiar with the product having read its packaging and warnings. I bet you did not follow the directions which warn that even regular users may have a reaction and have you do a skin test EVERY time before you use it. If you didn't, then the reaction is your fault.
