Legal Question in Personal Injury in Georgia

Three years ago my mother was diagnosed with a life threatening illness. I obtained her legal power of attorney so that I would be able to help coordinate her treatments. She survived her illness. At the present time, she has become angry with me and is demanding her "power of attorney" to be returned her. She is referring to the paper copy I received. I cannot locate this document, but even if I could, wouldn she not need to go back to the attorney and have this nullified legally?

You need to be responsible and return the document, as that is your responsibility.

She can revoke it at any time. You are creating a legal problem for yourself in not returning a document you had a duty to act carefuly on.
