Legal Question in Product Liability in Georgia

i shipped a package to a person with the same name as someone else they signed for it and my company has been trying to contact them with no luck. both of these people are registered with my company and have bought things before.who is responsible for this my company or the person that signed for it. he has received probably 8000$ worth of product that does not belong to him

Your post is far from clear, and it is not a products liability case. You don't even tell us whether or not you sent the packages to the proper address. In addition, what do you mean by "responsible?" Responsible to who, for what? The police? The person who should have received the packages? Post again, in the appropriate categoory, and be much more clear in the facts and what you are asking.
