buying a house in georgia...put up $1000.00 earnest money.....now my loan wont go through....do i lose my earnest money?????

What does your contract say? These are things that you should fully understand before something as important as entering into a contract to purchase a house.

Look at your purchase contract to determine whether the sale was made "subject to financing." If you need help interpreting your contract, arrange for a consult with an attorney.
