Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Georgia

My family has an inground pool. We have friends and family that drop by when we are not home to swim. Is there a specific notice that we can post regarding our pool being a family pool and not for public use that would reduce our liability? Should we post a notice that all swimmers swim at their own risk? Should we have all who swim in our pool sign some type waiver of liability indicating they will not hold us (the home owner) responsible in the event of an accident?

You are being very foolish in allowing others to use your pool when you are gone. Stop doing that.

If you have a pool, you MUST have a fence adequate to keep people out. If you are foolish enough not to do so and someone drowns you will likely be liable. You should not have built a pool without a proper fence that locks. Get rid of the pool or get a proper fence. (Forget the sign idea or the forms- that's not an option).
