Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Georgia

Is there a Georgia law that says you have to have a tree planted in your yard? I want to plant a tree to match the others in my neighbors yards, do i need the homeowners permission if it conforms to those already there?

There is no law that says that, but you appear to have left out facts that do affect the answer.(The fact you danced around and tried not to tell us but hinted at was whether you have a homeowner's association).

IF you have a homeowner's association, you MUST abide by the recorded covenants. You agreed to that when you bought your home. Those covenants often will control landscaping.
