Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Georgia

I'm a Landlord in GA. I leased a house to a Tenant in which she is to pay all utilities.

I am getting a loan on this house and the County Water dept has a lien on my house for $550.00

because my Tenant is behind on her water bill. Can they do that?

Yes. You, the owner, are responsible for paying the bill. You may have to sue your tenant for reimbursement.
