Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Georgia

Legal action? Ga.

I recently had my house for sale. A few months ago, I had a buyer that said they want the house. They sold the one they lived in and then put my house under contract. They were having problems getting the loan they wanted and said they needed 60 days for something to clear in thier bank account. I let them move into the house under a temp. occupancy. They signed a new agreement saying they will pay a certain amount for the 60 days they are living there and when its up will close on the house. I moved out and let them move in. I then had to find a rental house to live in while I am having a house built in a differnet area of GA.

Now, they are having problems with thier marriage or something and are talking about backing out of buying the house. Thier bank has cleared them to buy the house. My house that I am building, I have put under contract and its almost finished. I had this house built the way I wanted it, but cant afford two house payments. Do I have any legal action against the people that are thinking about backing out of buying my house, or am I just screwed?

An attorney will need to review all of the documents associated with your sales and rental transaction in order to determine your options.
