Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Georgia

I purchased a home with my now ex-boyfriend in 2009. I have moved out since then, but have continued to pay my half of the mortgage. However, my ex has changed all the locks in the house leaving me no access to my belongings in the house. He refuses to sell the house or find a roommate and insists that I pay my half until the house is paid off. What should I do?

In addition, whether or not he "insists" you pay the mortgage, if you signed the loan documents you are liable for the entire debt. If payments are not made, your credit is trashed. This question is asked all the time, and this is an example of why entering into any transaction like this is a mistake where the parties have no legal relationship (marriage, partnership, etc.).
