If I sell property that was quit claimed to me thru power of attoney and the original owner is now deceased, would I have to split the profit with the deceased living adult children?

If the quitclaim deed was properly prepared and executed, the property is yours to do with as you please and you don't owe anybody anything. However, just to be safe, consult with a local attorney who can review the documents.
