Re: real estate

Two many facts are left out. Real property or personal property? Was the first persons estate probated? How was the property titled? Were the children dead when the parents died? How old are the children?

You need to talk to an attorney and bring in all your paperwork, deeds, death certificates, etc. Generally, intestate property vests in the administrator subject to distribution. Debts have to paid before there is any distribution. Therefore, you will have to probate the estate and the state of Georgia will determine who the heirs are based on the current laws of regarding intestate estates. You may have up to five estates to probate.
